off the beaten path
a bit of beauty beckons

beauty like the sun

the ladies are back again
shedding summer clothes

spider spins and spins
weaving gossamer silk threads
necklaces for trees

a dragon lives here
amidst the towering trees
only few will see

bird of paradise
unfolding into joy
your beauty takes flight

fingers in the dirt
finding these fruits of the earth
joy beyond measure
