Haiku My Heart ~ Living Water

Chalice in the heart-space of the Santa Rosa Labyrinth

this living water
fills the chalice of my heart
”don’t go back to sleep”

“The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell,
don’t go back to sleep.

You must ask for what you really want,
don’t go back to sleep.

People are passing back and forth across the threshold
where the two worlds meet.

The door is round and open,
don’t go back to sleep.

This chalice of water
is from a labyrinth gathering that we recently had
honoring the feminine and masculine,
formlessness into form,
the union of opposites,
and the place where this living water
nourishes body, mind, and spirit.
