Cazadero Labyrinth
On the 25th of June, it was my delight to attend the dedication ceremony of this sweet labyrinth in the redwoods of Cazadero, California.
I wrote about the initial layout of this labyrinth HERE.
My labyrinth colleague and friend did an amazing job of working with her land and the existing trees; moving stone and bark to create this unusual meandering labyrinth, inspired by the “Moony Labyrinth” created by Andrew Godfrey of the UK.
We walked as a community to the moving strums of a violin in the twists and turns of this labyrinth…
honored the directions and the path with each other, pausing at the magical stone stump…
made our way past the two peace posts…
and shared afternoon sweets, drinks, and conversation in the beauty of these majestic redwoods.
