Haiku My Heart ~ Simple Joy

harvesting these plants
is a task of simple joy
feeding heart and soul

My winter veggie garden is abundant in radishes, lettuces, borage, arugula, carrots, parsley, and thyme. The kale and cauliflower, however… are struggling a bit.
Just like life.

It is such a joy to harvest these gems and make a meal to nourish my body, mind and soul. I have such gratitude for being this close to the earth and all the gifts of life that grow in this abundant soil.
