are the fourth generation to run this beautiful
landmark of Bakersfield, as well as its newer sister store...

Just inside the doors...
you take a number,
climb up on the padded stools...

and await the treats that are too numerous to name here...

but my favorite is...
Peppermint Ice Milk with hot fudge and almonds...

everything is served the old fashioned way...
