Sunday Smoothie ~ Cranberry-Matcha Wake-Up

I love playing around with different combinations
of ingredients for my smoothies.

This one is a bit tart
but makes for a bright start to my day!

I have found that color, texture and temperature
are important to some people.
i love the chewing crunch of the cacao nibs and walnut bits.
And, I happen to like a cold smoothie in the morning right alongside my hot drink.
Others do not like the chill. So this could be made for lunch
or as a mid-morning or afternoon snack.

Also... I almost always add spinach to my morning smoothies,
as I want to have my greens to balance out my breakfast nutrients.
However, spinach will turn this pretty pink smoothie into a dull brown!
:-(
So, brown it is for me!
But I left the spinach out to take this photo!
