Do you hire armed guards
to protect what is yours,
this postage stamp on the earth
so no oil spills,
nor killing of animals or humans,
born or unborn,
fighting war, after war, after war, after war
where no poisonous sounds like leaf blowers or pesticide,
nor gmo’s,
cross over into your space,
separate from everyone else’s???
Do you run surveillance cameras
so you can voyeur
into the lives of everyone who passes by???
And catch the culprit
making them a spectacle for all the world
to see on how not to act???
On how not to destroy
what is precious to someone else???
What do you do with us humans…
who never seem to learn…
who erase one person’s ease in the blink of a kick…

Clamps,
